Advice from our stylists

Which Résistance products do I need?

The full routine is Bain Force Architecte shampoo at $48 (RRP $64), Ciment Anti-Usure conditioner at $57.75 (RRP $77) and the Blow-Dry Primer at $57.75 (RRP $77). All three contain the Pro-Keratine Complex of protein and amino acids to help reinforce the fibre, ceramides for shine and elasticity, and resurrection plant sap to smooth and hydrate.

How do I use Résistance?

Soak your hair for a good minute before you shampoo, so a chestnut-sized amount of Bain Force Architecte lathers easily with less rubbing. Squeeze out as much water as you can, then apply Ciment Anti-Usure to the lengths and ends for 2 to 3 minutes and rinse. On towel-dried hair, comb through a walnut-sized amount of Blow-Dry Primer, a little less on fine or shoulder-length hair, and dry as usual. All three are gentle enough for daily use.

How much heat does the Résistance Blow-Dry Primer protect against?

The Blow-Dry Primer protects up to 180°C and also helps cut down drying time. If you use hot tools set higher than that, see our heat protection range.

Should I use Résistance or Première?

Résistance suits weakened, brittle hair that breaks easily and needs strength as well as softness. Première is our pick for hair that is over-processed from lightening or chemical services and feels stiff or dull, as it clears calcium build-up before repairing. See all products for damaged hair.
